This program is designed to help students feel confident, capable, and supported as they begin high school. With practical strategies and ongoing guidance, students develop the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Students develop confidence in navigating new classes, routines, friendships, and expectations so they can begin Year 7 feeling prepared instead of overwhelmed.

Students learn practical time management, homework, planner, and study strategies that help reduce stress and build independence from the very beginning.

Families receive continued support throughout the transition, including parent guidance, student workshops, and real-life strategies for managing challenges as they arise.
HSC Game Plan helps students build structure, confidence, and effective study habits throughout the entire HSC journey - with support that extends beyond academics alone.

Miranda · Year 10 Parent

"What stood out to us was the structure. They didn't just help with homework — they helped build systems. My son now knows how to break down assignments, revise properly and manage his time. These are skills he'll use for life."
Online · Year 7 Parent

"The Year 7 transition support completely changed how my daughter approached high school. She felt prepared instead of overwhelmed, in control instead of anxious. That confidence has carried into every subject throughout the year."
Sutherland Shire · Year 8 Parent

"Before starting with Mentoring Young Minds, my daughter would cry over homework and say she just 'wasn't smart.' Within one term, her maths marks improved — but more importantly, she started believing in herself again. The difference in her confidence has been incredible."
Engadine · Year 6 Parent

"We were specifically looking for tutoring for ADHD and what we found was so much more. The sessions are structured, calm and incredibly thoughtful. My son feels understood — and that has made all the difference."

All modules are recorded and catch-up is simple. Mentors help them get back on track.
Tutoring is subject-specific. This program teaches study skills, organisation, mindset, and exam strategy — the skills that apply across every subject.
