There are so many changes students are faced with when they move from primary school, to high school. New teachers, a bigger workload, social changes, and greater independence. For many students, it can feel like too much at once, leaving them stressed, disorganised, or unsure where to turn for help.
Developed by a High School teacher with over 15 years of supporting students with this transition, your child will access information that will help them thrive - socially, academically and emotionally!
This 20-week online program is designed to make the transition smoother and more successful - not just for the student, but for the whole family.
Beginning 10 weeks before school begins, your child will be equipped with weekly student modules that cover organisation, time management, managing nerves, and knowing who to ask for help.
But, we won't leave them there. We will continue to support them through the first 10 weeks of Term 1 with strategies to handle real-life challenges - friendships, workload, assessments, and expectations - as they arise.
Confidence to walk into new classes and make friends quickly
Homework done on time without stress
Organised with a planner and timetable from Week 1
Strategies for managing workload and exams
A growth mindset to tackle challenges head-on
No more nightly homework battles
Peace of mind knowing your child isn’t falling behind
Clarity on how to support your child at home without nagging
A calmer, happier home environment as routines fall into place
Pride in seeing your child start high school thriving, not just coping

"Highly Recommend"
So much more than the basics. It covered every part of the Year 7 transition from organisation to assessment to working with teachers on issues. My daughter started high school confident, organised, and ready for anything."
- Sarah M - 11/2024

"It helped so much"
"Before the workshop, I was pretty nervous about starting high school. I didn’t know what the teachers would expect or how I’d keep up with all the homework. After just two sessions, I felt like I had a plan for everything. I started high school feeling prepared instead of scared, and it made a huge difference. I wish all my friends had done it too."
- M. T - 25/11/2024

"Prepared for Everything!"
It was so valuable having people who actually work with Year 7 students every day run the sessions. They knew exactly what challenges were coming and how to handle them. My son came away with practical tools and a real sense of confidence. When we hit the inevitable ‘I don’t like high school’ moment in Week 2, he was able to work through it using strategies he’d learned. As a parent, that made me feel so much more at ease.
